Multi-Factor Authentication
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is a new required security feature for on-line banking. MFA is another layer of security in addition to your password when you use CECUONLINE. This feature is now scheduled to begin in March of 2007. After this feature is added, when you logon the first time you will be asked a series of questions about yourself (mother’s maiden name, first school, etc). The next time you logon from that computer you will not be asked any questions, however if you logon from a different computer you will be asked to answers some of those questions. If you do not give the same answers you gave the first time, you will not be able to logon. This prevents someone from logging into your account with just your password. Please remember your answers, because if you do not give the same answers your account will be locked. Also if a family member also logs into the same account, you will need to be sure they know the answers you gave to the challenge questions.
